This spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment is situated on London’s iconic Baker Street and boasts a generous footprint and floor to ceiling heights. The brief was to create an elegant, minimalist space that flows seamlessly from room to room. Our starting point for this was a beautiful engineered oak chevron floor, which runs through all rooms except the bathrooms. The doors throughout the property are frameless, which in addition to the removal of all skirting boards, creates a streamlined backdrop for the minimal interiors. The bespoke joinery is designed to continue those sleek lines, creating storage without impacting on the overall atmosphere. A neutral palette of colours and materials were used to enhance this further.
Continuing on this theme, we created a polished plaster media unit in the main living area, including a built in bio fireplace. Original crittall windows were all carefully restored and dressed in a minimal style. The apartment features an integrated sound system throughout.
